In partnership with Uganda Coffee Farmers Alliance (UCFA), @CarePlus and @Thecoffeequest, Coffee Shots contributed to support the Malaria Free World Robusta project.
The 12.000 farming families who produced the Natural Robusta live in the greater Luweero area, including the regions Nakaseke and Nakasongola, where infection rates aproximate 20% and the percentage of people sleeping under a net sits between 40% and 60%. Malaria is best treated by prevention. 
Care Plus' higher goal is a malaria-free world in 2030 with their Buy One, Give One campaign. Care plus reserves 1% of their turnover to invest in a malaria-free world. 
With the Buy One, Give One program, Care Plus distributed more than 4000 mosquito nets in Uganda in 2021, giving a free protection from mosquito bites to more than 16,000 people.
